I am an alumni of the volunteer based tutor/mentoring program that serves innercity children and youth living in the Cabrini Green area of Chicago. My purpose on this pledge page is to show my support to the program, they opened up so many doors for me and opportunities growing up in public housing, Cabrini Connections help me to realize that their is life outside of the ghetto, and helped me to realize I can accomplish my goals in life no matter where I was born and raised. Without the program I don't think I would have left the Cabrini Green area. I would like to invite others to make financial contributions to support this 501(c)(3) non for profit organization



I Graduated with my Associates degree from Okaloosa Walton College on Dec 16, 05. I have completed my LPN program as of Dec, 14 2006 I currently work at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and will be taking my Nursing boards Feb. 28th. I have applied for the LPN to RN bridge program at OWC and I am just excited about this new journey when it concludes i plan to have my RN degree with a heavy concentration in forensic nursing.
